Kemal Shahab

S. Kemal Zulfi better known as Kemal Shahab holds Bachelor of Law from Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) Yogyakarta and Master of Law from the same University.

He was previously with Armila Law Office, now Armila & Rako Law Firm, the big Law Firm in Indonesia and has collaborated with several other law firms in Jakarta.

Kemal Shahab is a member of Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). Apart from being a lawyer, Kemal also works as a curator and the administrators are under the auspices of the Indonesian Curator and Administrator Association (AKPI).

Kemal has experienced in representing both individuals and companies in resolving various legal issues in criminal cases (including criminal acts of corruption) as well as civil and commercial business cases and bankruptcy cases as well as in election cases.

Kemal has also experienced in general corporate matters including acquisitions, commercial transaction, domestic and foreign investment, restructuring and reorganization, conducting legal due diligence for acquisition as well as draft and review a business contract, involve contracts of mining, oil and gas business.

In other while, to handling the cases, Kemal also has extensive experience in conducting alternative dispute resolution by means of negotiation and mediation as well as arbitration.
